Time picture is taken unsure going by Wreford the youngest i say he looks about 4 or five so perhaps around 1921/1922

Matilda sartin was born abt 1824 East Chinnock she was the youngest of 6 children there is a death registered for a Matilda Sartin in Jul-Sep 1877 yeovil age 57 years old.
The earliest census record for Matilda is in 1851 address Middle street District Martock Yeovil Matilda is age 27 unmarried Glover born East Chinnock living as a lodger in the household of a William fear a in keeper and his wife. She is recorded to be with her Daughter Elizabeth 7 months old. I have been unable to find any other information on Elizabeth stated to be Matilda's daughter in the census . There is a birth registered for a Elizabeth Sartin in september 1850 for Yeovil Somerset. The dates add up. How ever it is unknown as to what became of her as she is not registered in any of the following census with her mother.
In the 1861 census for Yeovil Matilda is aged 37 Leather Glover living with her son John and Daughter mary A Sartin age 2 in the household of a William Symons age 30 occupation Groom born Bridgewater Somerset. It is unknown what relationship William had to Matilda as it does not state her as being a visitor nor lodger at the household. There is also a birth registered for a Mary Ann Sartin simmons in 1859 Yeovil Somerset which matched the dates for the census above Suggesting perhaps Mary may have been Williams daughter.
In the 1871 census for back Kingston Matilda is age 50 born Yeovil it states she is a widower occupation glover although her age is out she can be found again with her son John Sartin age 14 and her daughter Amy Sartin age 12. This is the last census for her.

Mother: Elizabeth Gifford born abt 1775 died 21st July 1835 age 60.
on the 14th July 1800 they married at Merriott all saints Witness one forename John Rousel.
William sartin actual date of birth as yet can not be identified. There are two entrys for baptisms for a William sartin the first for the 4th of September 1773 father stated as being Edward and mother Ann. The other is for the 20th of April 1778 mother and fathers name stated as being the same. There is a burial record for A Edward Sartin the 28th of November 1828 age 67 years old at time of death. Making his birth abt 1761 .
Possible relations to William sartin his father Edward Sartin born abt 1727 East Chinnock married the 21st of feb 1753 to Ann Parker who was born 1731 East Chinnock and died 23rd Jun 1810. Edward died the 12th of August 1797 East Chinnock details are yet to be confirmed. so watch this space!!!
